The Iowa Roofing Contractors purpose is to help its members operate successfully,
providing continuing education, training, government relations, public relations and industry contacts.
IRCA membership offers two classifications of membership:

Any established roofing, waterproofing, damp proofing, or architectural sheet metal contractor whose principal
business engages in the application of roofing.
Any person or firm having interest in the business and affairs of the IRCA.

Applications for membership must be sponsored by one or more voting members, who will vouch
for said new proposed member's abilities and integrity. All proposed new members shall have filed an application for
membership with the Executive Secretary of the corporation, agreeing to pay all dues assessed pursuant to the bylaws.
Specifically, Contractor Members shall file a certificate of insurance along with the application of membership.
$250.00 per year
Paid with the submittal of each application and before the annual meeting each year
The Iowa Roofing Contractos Association has strived to meet the educational needs of the industries it serves. Each year, the IRCA awards scholarships for students attending a post secondary school. Applications for these scholarships are reviewed at annual IRCA board meetings. Applicants are encouraged to complete an application below.
The Iowa Roofing Contractors Association initiated this voluntary program to elevate the knowledge of its members
in the fair, safe and ethical operation of a roofing business in the State of Iowa. Through
tests for acceptable levels of knowledge of applicable State and Federal business
laws, the public bid process, safety standards and the roofing trade. We intend to help members provide consumers
the highest degree of confidence and protection when purchasing services from IRCA Certified Roofing Contractors.
Who is certified?
Certification is open to all roofing contractors doing business in the State of Iowa. It is available to firms engaged
in steep slope or low slope roofing. Contractors are certified through a series of tests, proof of insurance and three
years of previous state required contractor registration.
